We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2020, at the age of 97, Laverne Yakel (Dexter, Michigan), born in Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Yakel Jr.; her parents, Sadie Wilsman Heady and Lloyd Heady; and her brother Lloyd George Heady.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
