He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth C. Tappe and Bernice Tappe (Lowry); and his granddaughter Rochelle Tappe. He is survived by: his wife Judi; his children, Tom Tappe (Marie) and Angela Knight (Don); his grandchildren, Brooke Miesch (Ryan), Derek Tappe, Jeffrey, Trevor and Robert Knight; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Laina Miesch; and his siblings, Robert Tappe and Margaret "Peg" Tappe.
