Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Cecil Hollenbeck of Dexter, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 77, on January 18, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Myron and Ellen Cecillia Hollenbeck (Lobdell); and his siblings, Thomas, Cliff, Mike, Leo and Mary Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Rackham; his children, Robert "Robb" Hollenbeck (Amy Dorow) of Jackson and Amber Slomka (Michael) of Ypsilanti; his brother Tim Hollenbeck; and his grandchildren, Logan, Taylen and Emma. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; 3 sisters-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cole Funeral Chapel (214 E Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
