James D. Chesney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James D. Chesney of Dexter, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James D. Chesney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Dukehart Chesney and Marjory H. Chesney; his sister Susan Chesney Wakelin; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Paul Vander Mel (BP), James Henry Wakelin and Kirk Cullen Kingman.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Luke, Brooke and Fiona; his wife Barbara Kingman Chesney; his son Carey Kingman Chesney (Ilze Amelia Chesney); his siblings, Alan Parker Chesney (Barbara Haack Chesney) and Lucy Chesney Vander Mel; and his sister-in-law Susan Kingman Herman (Denny Whipp). He is also survived by grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
