He is survived by: his parents, Scott Schouwenaar and Susan Schouwenaar (Czarnota) of Dexter; his brother Griffin Schouwenaar of Dexter; his grandmother Vivian Czarnota of Allen Park; his extended family Tina Dale; and his pet Lilo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
