He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter B. Miles and Alice Miles (Grundman); his wife Willadean (Gullett); his children, Rex D. Miles and Lori L. Ashcraft (Stan); his grandchildren, Jayma Whitehead (Brad) and Jerid M. Hollenbeck; his great grandchildren, Hailey Joanne, Hannah Lynne and Harper Katherine; his siblings, Patricia Trinkle and Roy Miles; and his son-in-law Michael Hollenbeck. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Faith Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
