He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Esch and Mary Esch of Ann Arbor. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his sons, Jeremy and Scott (Kristen); his granddaughter Farrah; and his siblings, Wayne (Debra), David (Jan), John (Joanne), Rosemary, Jean Goodnoe (Duane), Caroline Petitjean, Donald (Becky) and James Sandra (Jackie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good News Community Chapel (104 Putnam St, Pinckney, MI 48169). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Compassion International, honoring Charlie's deep concern for the plight of underprivileged children.
