She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Harwell and Betty Jean Harwell (Waldon); her parent-in-law Lloyd; her sister Deloris "DeeDee" Barnhart; and her sister-in-law Wilma Barnhart.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald of DeWitt; her children, Sherri Kolb (Jeff) of Grand Ledge, Gerry Nichols (Jacey) of Durand and Lori Jean Nichols of Lansing; her grandchildren, Katelyn Nichols, Conner Nichols (Margo), Samuel Nichols, Sophie Young, Joshua Kolb, Johnny Kolb and Jeffrey Kolb; her great grandchild Ronan; and her sister Mary Lee (Keith). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
