He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Schaefer; his wife Dawn Schaefer; and his sister Karen Adams. He is survived by: his father Paul Schaefer; his children, Brent (Brittany Yeager) and Bethany Schaefer; his granddaughter Kylara Spencer; his close friend Bev Hixson; his siblings, Jerry, Tim (Tina), Doug (Kathy), Tom (Marilyn), Kevin (Amy) and Mary Jo Lampton (Tim); and his brother-in-law Don Adams (Lois). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
