He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gorsline Klan and Henry William Klan; and his stepmother Ila Larkin Klan. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Kirk Wolcott Klan; his children, Robert Klan (Nicole), Christina Klan, David Klan (Tazuko), Michelle Dahl (Donald) and Nathan Klan (Tara); his siblings, Nancy Mason, Peter Klan and Barbara Widick; and his grandchildren, Trisha, Jonathan, Jaden, Ryan, Hayleigh, Poet, Pace, Leah, Caleb and Molly.
