He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Pieters and Josephine Pieters; his siblings, Patricia Turczi (Trish) and Albert Benedict Pieters Jr. (Dick); his nephew Adrian Pieters; his brother Mike Pieters (Linda); his children, Carey Oberlin (Tim), Rick Jr. (Kari) and John Pieters (Julie); his grandchildren, Mitch (Christian), Kelli Combs (Tyler), Masen, Mariya (Josh), Carson, Henry and Samuel Pieters; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Mac Patrick and Briar.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home (205 E Washington St, DeWitt, MI 48820). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (801 N Bridge St, DeWitt, MI 48820).
