He was loved and cherished by many people including: his child Yooper; his wife Betty; his sister Dr. Jane Dye (Don); his daughters, Pamela Butler (David) and Paula Garver (Richard); his grandchildren, Dianna Paulsen (Andrew), Krista Young (Keith), Rachael Daymon (Kyle) and Korie Garver (Elijah Diaz); and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Paulsen, Bryant Paulsen, Hailey Paulsen, Tyler Paulsen, Noah Young, Grace Young and Ava Young.
In lieu of flowers, Monte's family requests donations be made in his honor to DeWitt First Baptist Church.
