She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. D'Amelio and Dorothy D'Amelio; her husband Richard Hersey; and her stepmother Louise Hobach. She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy Rice (Joe) and Ellen Simmons (Adam); her grandchildren, Julia, Annelise, Andrew and Emma; and her siblings, Agnes Colligan (late James) and Robert D'Amelio (Diane). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Lucy's name.
