She was predeceased by: her father Howard Dowdy Sr.; and her father-in-law Joe Jorae. She is survived by: her husband Jody Lee Jorae; her son Chad Jorae (Laura) of Potterville, MI; her grandson Brayden Jorae; her mother Charlotte Cumbee (Cumbee); her mother-in-law Nancy Jorae; her siblings, Dan, Debbie, Tim, Melissa, Mary Ann and Howie; and her sister-in-law Deb (Glen). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to American Cancer Society or Ingham County Humane Society.
