He was predeceased by: his parents, Wardie Miller and Mallie Miller (Bailey); his wife Loretta; his grandson Drake Miller; his siblings, Vernie Miller, Alma Jean Miller, Elsie Johnson and Zelma Jacob; and his close friend Sharon Kegebein.

He is survived by: his children, Janet Davis, Jimmy Miller (Heather) of Eaton Rapids and Jason Miller (Meekhan Whitaker) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Justin Smith, Jordan Miller, Radian Miller, Addison Miller and Holden Miller; and his brothers, Larry Miller (Kathy) and Stanley "Bub" Miller. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
