He was predeceased by: his mother Lois June LaViolette (Beckner); and his brother-in-law Hal Barnes. He is survived by: his father Thomas LaViolette; his daughter Ashley Carpenter; and his siblings, Lori Barnes, James and Scott LaViolette (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
