He was predeceased by: his parent Benilde Madruga Silva (Soares). He is survived by: his children, Danielle Kaschyk (Eric), Katrina Harrington (Scott), Andrew Silva (Candace) and Stephanie Silva; his grandchildren, Micah, Nathan, Tayleigh, Lauren, Isaac, Parker, Josiah, Kenan, Hanna and Ruth; his sister Armanda Moura (Edgar); his niece Cassandra; and his nephew Eric.
