He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Shapow and Anna Shapow (Kozlow); and his siblings, William and Doris. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Shapow (Christian); his sons, Michael (Candice) and Tony; his grandchildren, Victoria, Nicole, Gabrielle, Olivia Shapow, Michael, Matthew and Tatum Shapow; his close friends, Melissa Shapow, Katie Lewis, Clayton Haddock, Alex Okseh, Roger Foster, Enrique Falls and Darwin Nitz; and his siblings-in-law, Theodore Christian, Jr. and Eleanor Marker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Michigan Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
