He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Ramirez and Guadalupe Ramirez (Sanches); his siblings, Gonzalo, Manuel, Felix, Otilia Loera, Frances Shenah and Guadalupe Ramirez; and his daughter Julie Eve Hyde.

He is survived by: his sister Angela; his wife Joyce Ramirez; his daughters, Kathy McNeilly (Chris), Cindy Malamed (Richard), Melissa Carrizales (Mario) and Michelle Wright (Joe); his siblings, Alberto (Mary), Fidel (Mary Helen), Lorenzo (Ellen), Roberto (Ginny) and Angie Curtis (David); and his sisters-in-law, Rosalva and Amelia. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
