She was predeceased by: her parents, Delavan Sipes and Flossie Sipes (Stephens); her husband Walter Carl Hummel Jr.; her daughter Diane Hummel; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Hummel, Dorothy Young (George) and Norma Soules.
She is survived by: her son Scott Hummel (Gwen); her grandchildren, Aaron Hummel (Abby), Emma Setterington (Nick), Jack Hummel (Caroline) and Grace Kresge (Brad); and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Maas (Richard), JoAnn VanAlstine (Leland) and JoAnne Hummel. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
