With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Gilberta Baker Artin (Dewitt, Michigan), who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Baker and Alice Baker (George Artin); her sons, Larry and Richard Ames; and her brothers, John and Pete Baker.

She is survived by: her sister Alice Vis; and her children, Gilbert Ames (Orma), Douglas Artin (Conni), Georgia DeFrain (Roy), John Kale (Cheryl), Elizabeth Paul (LeRoy), Darlene DiGiovanni (Joe) and Denise Thompson (Jason). She is also survived by 31 Grandchildren, over 100 Great Grand, and Great Great Grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Lansing City Rescue Mission.
