With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Arnold Reed of Dewitt, Michigan, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Arnold Reed to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald A. Reed and Wilma C. Reed (Henning); his wife Laura; and his siblings, Diane Reed and Doloris Reed.

He is survived by: his children, Douglas Reed, Dennis Reed (Joyce Jubb), Daniel "Duffy" Reed (Robyn) and Debora Sumner (Ed); and his siblings, Daryl Reed (Martha), Dale Reed (Barbara) and Dorthey Hart (late Cliff). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gorsline-Runciman Dewitt Chapel (205 E Washington St, DeWitt, MI 48820). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society for lymphoma and leukemia research.
