He is survived by: his wife Betty Wernette Babian; his daughter Emma Nelson (Maylen); his son-in-law Anthony Nelson (Tony); his grandson Connor Nelson; his siblings, John Wesley Babian (Peg Foley), Charles Edward Babian and Rebecca Helen Murthum (Peter); his nephews, Ben Babian (Angie), Andy Babian (Mindy), Phil Babian (Lindsay) and Max Murthum (Kennedee Semans); his niece Laura Murthum Cyrus (Aaron); his family, Nathan, Rachael, Emerson, Aaron, John, Hugo, Margot and Ezra; his cousins, Richard, Sarah, Bill, Patricia, Barbara, Lori, Art and Larry; his stepsiblings, Leslie, Christine Nakfoor (Ron) and David (Loree); his father-in-law Dave; his sons, Jeff, Greg, Marty (Deb) and Underhill; and also, Brian, Richard (Angel), Sandra (Justin), Daniel (Alexandra), Becky (Carl), Matt, Lisa (Bub), Josh, Andy, Bryce and Jesse (Laura).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Redeemer United Methodist Church (13980 Schavey Rd, DeWitt, MI 48820).
