It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Bruce Mathews of Dewitt, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Mathews and Pauline Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mathews (Kot); his son David (Danielle Krochonis) of Tyler, TX; his sister Marshalea Mathews; his nieces, Jamie Mathews (Brian Graham), Michaella Graham, Tenley and Tatum; his grandchildren, Tye Mathews (Cyndel) and Alyce Mathews; and his great grandchild Remi.

Prior to COVID Dave enjoyed meeting "the old guys" at the DeWitt McDonald's and was grateful for their friendship and camaraderie.
