“I would see Clyde at ballgames especially at MSU he always had a smile and was genuinely happy to see everyone he knew. I always enjoyed talking to him and he always had a good story to tell especially about his days in Owosso or Grand Ledge or the Tigers. He was especially proud of his Golden Pass. Styling Clyde always looked professional and had the respect of his peers from what I saw. I'll miss those stories. One of those people you want to know better he will be missed. Bryan Rush”

“So sorry to hear about Clyde. I lived four houses down from Clyde on Willow in Grand Ledge. I am a bit younger so did not know him in high school but knew of him. Years later I met him at a MSU baseball camp and had a nice conversation with him. A short time after we lost a GL baseball player in a auto accident we held a fundraiser for a memorial scholarship and I asked Clyde to speak at it. His speech reached many ears of young ball players and made an impact. Bryan Rush”
