We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2022, at the age of 86, Clifford William Welsch Jr. (Dewitt, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Welsch and Lorraine Welsch; his siblings, Virginia Welsch (Virginia Heitz) and Robert Welsch (Bob); his former wife Phylis Kendall (Kay); his sons, Jeffrey, David and Richard Welsch; his wife Margaret Smith; and his children, Deborah Smith (Deborah Berry) and Stuart Smith.

He also served on a number of National Institutes of Health (NIH) and American Cancer Society (ACS) research grant review committees.
