He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Isaac and Ada Ella Barks (Sult); his grandson Andrew Barks; his great grandchild Brimley Barks; and his siblings, Dora Moffett (Atley), Alice Knox (Sam) and Edward Barks.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Barks; his children, Nancy House, Sara Smith, Paul Thomas (Jeanine Barks) and Bryan John (Kris Barks); his grandchildren, Brad Barks, Tiffany Barks, Zachary Barks, Sarah Barks, Anne Barks, Rachel House and Jennifer Barks; his great grandchildren, Aiden Miller and David Onishi; his sister Edna Blackstone; and his sister-in-law Kay Barks.
