It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmon Leeroy Smith of Dewitt, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Murrill "Tony" Smith and Opal Roden; and his brother David Goss. He is survived by: his children, Shareen Ray of Lansing and Crystal Froum (Dave) of Lansing; his grandson Lucas Froum; his siblings, Kryn Sisco and Bill Smith; his aunt Melba Arntson; and his cousin Kim Sear (Mike).
