She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Alton and James Turner Alton; her sisters, Marilyn and Virginia; and her grandson Joey Cox.

She is survived by: her husband Alexander J. Tait (Alex); her children, Susan Lasswell of Morrison, CO, Karlin Cox, James of Fountain Hills, AZ and Steven; and her nephews, John Tait and Baird Heffron.
