He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Magsig and Blanche Magsig; his wife Margie; his close friend Rita; his sons, Phillip and Patrick; and his grandson P. J..
He is survived by: his sisters, Dorothy Merignac and Betty Cody; his children, Paul Magsig (Diane Houpt) and Angie Carney (Michael Sr.); and his grandchildren, Shila Durbin (Nick), Nicci Hansen (Karl), Charity Snider (Jonny), Daniel Barber and Robert Barber (Taru). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home Dewitt Chapel (205 E Washington St, DeWitt, MI 48820). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wilsey Cemetery.
