She was predeceased by: her parents, Eberto Sanchez and Delfina Sanchez; her sisters, Elia Sanchez and Bertha Quiroga; her brother-in-law Leandro Quiroga Sr.; and her children, Guadalupe Gutierrez, Homero David Gutierrez and Omar Hector Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Maribel Gutierrez; her grandchildren, Nicole Danielle Gutierrez, Ashley Marie Gutierrez, Omar Gutierrez, Luis David Gutierrez, Josue Daniel Gutierrez, Judah Manasseh Gutierrez, Yolanda Jazmin Gutierrez and Amada Sharai Gutierrez; her great grandchildren, Alberto "Betito" Garza Jr., Cambria Lasalle, Elijah Tillitson, Layton Gutierrez, Max Gutierrez, Amelia Gutierrez, Abraham Gutierrez and Julian Harris; her sister Sandra Sanchez Cantu (Pete); and her nieces and nephews, Leandro M. Quiroga Jr., Elia S. Quiroga, Roel S. Quiroga (Carmen), Cynthia S. Castillo (Gonzalo), Andrew Lynn Quiroga (Rebecca), Bianca Lynnette Ramos, Jorge Enrique Ledezma and Moxy Rose Ledezma.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM at the Sanchez Funeral Home (301 E 2nd St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A rosary was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (101 E Canales Bros St, Rio Grande City, TX 78582). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery (6200 Val Verde Rd, Donna, TX 78537).
