With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paul Michael Clayton of Detroit, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Paul Michael left this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 40, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Michael Clayton; his brother Joseph Clayton; his stepbrother Nathan Bucy; his grandmother Jeannie Reich; and his cousins, Scott Ruhlman and Sara Smith.

He is survived by: his mother Theresa Bucy (Ted); his sister Colleen Schmidt (David); his stepbrother Nick Bucy; his grandfather Joseph Ruhlman (late Jean); and his nieces and nephews, Will Schmidt, Sammy Schmidt, Mikey Schmidt, Tommy Schmidt, Louie Schmidt and Frankie Schmidt. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Home (500 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
