He was predeceased by : his parents, Everest Moreeuw and Virginia Moreeuw; and his sister Suzanne. He is survived by : his sister Nancy (David Bialy); his brother-in-law James Roland; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Schmitz, Eric Roland, Paul Bialy, Mark Roland and Jenee'Jones; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacquelyn, Katelyn, Madelyn, Claire, Joseph, Olivia, Ryan and Elyse.

Viewing was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Old St. Mary's Catholic Church (646 Monroe St, Detroit, MI 48226). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
