We bid farewell to LaVerne Vivian Greenwood of Detroit, Michigan, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 18, 2024 at the age of 97. LaVerne Vivian touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Beaumont and Vivian Beaumont; and her siblings, Roy, Donald, Gerald, Walter, Gloria, Anita and Patty.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Critchley Greenwood; her children, Steve (Patty), Robert (Kathie), Lynn Millican (Gary) and Meredith; her sisters, Lucy, Susan and June; her grandchildren, Sarah, Clare, Ryan (Krista) and Shannon Becker (Michael); her friend Don Rucinski; her family, Larry and Delma Laventure; and also, Lesli, Greg DeMoss, Kelly, Butch Kiviniemi and Diann Axford.
