A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Temple of Deliverance (119 Deegans St, Beckley, WV 25801). Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may visit with the family one-hour prior.

“Mrs. Wooten and I worked together for 8 years. We shared a birthday; and when we discovered this, I was turning 25 the year she turned 52, so we swapped ages for the day. Every year we worked together, we held a joint class celebration on our birthday which always held so much cheer for all of us. I will never forget her, and her spirit will live on through the hundreds of children she taught with such love and joy. I can’t help but smile wide as I remember her vibrant spirit”
