We bid farewell to Laila Jean Abud in Detroit, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Laila Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Shehab and Julia Shehab; her husband Joseph Abud; and her daughter Vicki. She is survived by: her son Joe; her grandchildren, Nicholas, John (Nawal), Joanna Abud, Denye and Kara Toma; her great grandchild Julian; and her friend Kay Rinke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
