Kikue Horikawa Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 99, Kikue Horikawa in Detroit, Michigan, born in Oxnard, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom T. Horikawa; her daughter Joyce Beckman; and her son-in-law Charlie Ostrom. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbi Horikawa Ostrom and Gail Horikawa; her grandchildren, Jesse Walker, Matthew Walker and Niki Horikawa; and her siblings, Wataru Jim Tagami, Hanako Kato, Ayako Konda, Yasuto Hirai, Tsuzuki Tom Tagami, Noboru Sam Tagami, Yoshinobu Jack Hirai, Suyeko Sue Hirase, Tsuyako Nakamura and George Hirai. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the San Mateo Buddhist Church (2 Claremont St., San Mateo, CA.).
