We bid farewell to Julia Parent (Detroit, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2025 at the age of 76. Julia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack"; her parents, Nicholas and Margaret; and her siblings, Nicholas Shock, Kathy O'Connell, Monica Begg and Mary Suave.
She is survived by: her grandson Jack; her son Jason (Charlotte); her grandchild Baby Boy (Due); her stepchildren, Jennifer Bartos (Phil) and John (Kristen); her stepgrandsons, Julian and Jake; her siblings, Margaret Manardo (Tom), Howard (Cathy), Joe (Mary), Anne Demchyna (Walt), Martha, Larry (Barb), Geralyn Conlon (Bo), Phillip and Sally Webb (Greg); and her siblings-in-law, Suzanne Shock, Tom O'Connell, Garry Begg and Bob Suave.
The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).
