She was predeceased by: her parents, Seferino Rodriguez and Angelita Fernandez; her husband David Chavez; her daughter Katherine Tumminello; her brother Robert Rodriguez; and her nephew Dominic Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her daughter JoAnn Chavez (Michael); her grandchildren, Jenna Chavez (Doug), David Chavez (Chelsea) and JoAnna Chavez (Vanya); her great grandchild Noel Daugherty; her sister Renae Artlip (Peter); her niece Danielle Rodriguez; her nephews, Foster Artlip (Gabriella) and Billy Artlip; and her great-nephews, Greyson and Brooks Artlip. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Basilica of Sainte Anne de Detroit (1000 St Anne St, Detroit, MI 48216).
Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 4, at Basilica of Sainte Anne de Détroit, 1000 St Anne St, Detroit, MI 48216, at 10:30 am, a luncheon to follow, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to La Sed Detroit (https://www.lasedinc.com).
