He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jamie Emerson (Dan), Donnie Rush and Amanda Rush; his grandchildren, Jacob Emerson (Rikki), Avery Emerson, Baylor Emerson, Nathan Shelton, Aleah Shelton, Aiden Rush, Denali Rush and Dallas; his great grandchild Bodhi Emerson; his siblings, Bill Rush (Diane), Bobby Rush (Jo), Marshall "Buck" Rush (Carol) and Carolyn "Sue" Fallin (Jeff); his parents, Ruby and Marshall; and his grandson Jayce Emerson.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar the Husband Family Funeral Home (2401 S Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48186). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Husband Family Funeral Home (2401 S Wayne Rd, Westland, MI 48186). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
