He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Damm; and his siblings, Rodney Damm, Fredrick Damm and Barbara Mouton. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Edward Damm (Janet) and Colleen Sangster (Joe); his grandchildren, Amanda Damm (Joshuwa Koppen), Bradley Damm (Justine) and Danielle Damm; his great grandchildren, William, Magnolia and Elysia; and his sister Phyllis Burcz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (21620 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
