As we bid adieu to Carolyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carolyn has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Peter and Christina Marie Tykoski (Novak); her daughter Lynn Cox; her son-in-law John Posegay; her brother Thomas Tykoski; and her former husbands, Lawrence Theobald and Joe Ciupa.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Posegay of Chelsea, Barbara Rainwater (Joe) of Maryville and Sharon Burgess (Robert) of Traverse City; and her son-in-law Kirby Cox of Farmington Hills. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
