She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Admiral Nelson Jr. and Dorris May Nelson (Jarvis); her former husband Arthur Kline; her brother David Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Hamelink (Jeanie) and Myra Hamelink.

She is survived by: her husband Jon Hamelink; her sons, Todd Kline of Phoenix, Mark Kline (Patty) of Ocean Shores and Jeffrey Hamelink of Augusta, Michigan; her daughter-in-law Susan Peterson of Lowell, Michigan; her grandchildren, Nick, Katy, Nathanial Kline, Lucas Hamelink (Alexis) and Kira Hamelink; her sister Deeanna Hakes (Gary) of Battle Creek; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Hamelink of Williamston and Jerry Hamelink (Nancy) of Fulton, Michigan..
