He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Minehart and Betty Minehart (Comerer); his brother John (Patty Minehart); and his brother-in-law Tom Kasson. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Minehart (Barbara) of Kalamazoo and Beverly Kasson of Portage; his son Jeffrey Minehart of Chicago; his stepchildren, Joe Powell and Emily Powell; and his nieces and nephews, Kim, Scott, Amanda, Kelly, Morgan, Josh, Samantha, Mary and Bobbi.
