He was predeceased by: his parents, David Garrison and Rachel Garrison (Stark); his wife Patricia Hazel; and his sons, Michael Garrison, William Garrison and Doug Garrison.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Kay Dubnicka (Bob) and Robert Garrison, Jr. (Bonnie); his daughter-in-law Peggy Garrison; and his sisters-in-law, Sharron Hazel Bowker and Elaine Jewell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
