He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bass and Ethel Bass (Little); his wife Betty; and his grandson-in-law Travis Robertson. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Barnard (John) and Laurie Hammond; his grandchildren, Charlie Barnard (Tina), Jennifer Barnard (Chris), John Jr. and Meg Robertson (Scott Starr); and his daughters, Katie Frederick (Evan) and Annie Hammond (Sara). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
