He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hoke and Ethel Hoke; his brother Roger; his brother-in-law Dick Hayward; and his nephews, Jon Raymond Staley and Mark Hayward.
He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Hoke; his children, Amy and Bruce Young and Christopher and Kim Hoke; his grandchildren, Brad Young, Leah, Brandon Postema, Karly, Logan, Ella and Hadley Montague; his great grandchildren, Simon Young, Sadie and Maxwell Postema; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law LaDonna Hoke; his sisters, Patricia Hayward and Jean; and his siblings-in-law, Don Sutton, Jim and Sharon Staley.
