It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Ione DuCharme of Delton, Michigan, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Gehrman and Phyllis Gehrman (Anderson); her daughter Teresa Inman-Kane; her siblings, Annette Garrison and Phillip Gehrman; and her brother-in-law Ted Chantrenne.

She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Tonya Fox (Gary) and Todd Inman; her stepsons, Michael DuCharme (Jerrie), Mark DuCharme (Chris) and Dan DuCharme; her siblings, Nancy Chantrenne, Donna Cooke and Kenneth Gehrman (Tina); and her sister-in-law Sue Gehrman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren: many great grandchildren.

Memorial tributes may be made to The Old Gospel Church at 12711 M-43 Highway, Delton, MI 49046 or the American Heart Association.

“Kathy and I met in kindergarten at Northwestern, now Urbandale, Elementary School, and we also lived one block from each other. We got into mischief those years, and then went our separate ways after we both moved from the area. Several years went by before we met up again (and still had a tendancy toward mischief). We visited often, had a common interest of being a bookworm, and became avid Prayer Warriors in our faith. Laughing often, playing cards, and drinking lattes. Miss you, Kath.”
