He is survived by: his wife Kathi; his children, Joe Smoczynski (Stephanie), Kelly Abueva (Bryan), Jeff Smoczynski (Liz) and Katie Bowman (Jake); his grandchildren, Payton (Madysen), Gabe, Ellie, Marc, Liam, Charlie, Molly, Henry, Benji and Lou; his great grandchild Emmy; and his siblings, MaryAnn DiSantis (Jim), Glenn Smoczynski (Sally) and Rex Smoczynski (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
