He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald DeFord and Joanne DeFord (Arnold); and his uncle Doug Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Yaklin-DeFord; his children, Greg Lawrence, Jessica DeFord (Nick) and Joey Deford Jr. (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Tyler, Jayden and Lilly; and his siblings, Joy DeFord and Jerry DeFord (Kelly).
